For centuries, the Principi Grimaldi di Nixima have been growing olives in Sicily. In addition to the gentle harvesting and processing, the warm climate of Sicily, the fertile, mineral-rich volcanic soil of Mount Etna and the 500 – 700 meters above sea level high location of the olive groves contribute to the production of one of the world’s best olive oils.
This virgin oil is obtained from the local olive variety Nocellarn dell’Etna, the fruits are picked by hand according to the strict extra virgin regulation and cold-pressed.
