Schloss Johannisberg can celebrate a double success: the Riesling Grünlack Spätlese 2022 and the Riesling Silberlack GG 2021 have been placed in the renowned World’s Best Sommeliers’ Selection by William Reed.

This means that two Rieslings from Johannisberg are part of the exclusive selection of top international wines. 30 top sommeliers from 16 countries and four continents have tasted wines from all over the world in a careful selection process and compiled them for the World’s Best Sommeliers’ Selection.

The jury is made up of leading restaurants such as Disfrutar (Barcelona), Central and Kjolle (Lima), DiverXO (Madrid), The Jane (Antwerp), Quintonil (Mexico City), Alchemist (Copenhagen) and Gaggan Anand (Bangkok).

The tasting was organized by William Reed, the name behind The World’s 50 Best Restaurants and World’s Best Vineyards.

Stefan Doktor, Managing Director of Schloss Johannisberg, expressed his delight at the success: “We are very proud that our wines have made it into this first-class selection and that we were able to share them with such a highly respected international sommelier community.
