Plenty of Beethoven and Award-Winning Nocturnes
Her piano playing seems effortless, sparkling, well-thought-out, and full of passion. It is all the more delightful that Alice Sara Ott will finally return to the stage of the Fürst-von-Metternich-Saal at Johannisberg Castle this coming summer after such a long absence—with an award-winning program in tow: In addition to two Beethoven sonatas, the evening will center on the nocturnes by his Irish contemporary John Field, for whose recording the pianist was honored in 2025 with the prestigious OPUS KLASSIK award.
