Jazz: From Ballads to Party Vibes
“For me, jazz is freedom!” says drummer Wolfgang Haffner. And he loves to bring this musical freedom to the stage in his concerts, preferably alongside fellow artists he’s friends with. Because understanding each other without words is essential in jazz. That’s why Haffner brings together his two trio colleagues, Simon Oslender and Thomas Stieger, for the “Friday Night in J’Berg” series and invites other musical friends to join him on stage for a few songs. In a wide variety of lineups, they create a colorful musical experience in the beautiful Cuvéehof of Schloss Johannisberg, offering everything from tranquil jazz ballads to funky party grooves.
