Riesling Orangelack Kabinett from Schloss Johannisberg awarded by WORLD’S BEST Sommeliers’ SELECTION

For the tasting of world-class wines, top sommeliers from around the world gathered in the UK in January to evaluate the second edition of the World’s Best Sommeliers’ Selection. More than thirty of the hospitality industry’s most influential sommeliers came together to evaluate an exceptional range of wines, all competing for a place in this prestigious selection. The World’s best Sommeliers’ Selection is an exclusive event: it offers a unique opportunity to have wines tasted and recommended by the best in their sector.

The 2023 Schloss Johannisberg Riesling Orangelack Kabinett was able to convince with its exceptional quality. In the tasting, our cabinet occupies a top position in the evaluation.
“The Orangelack convinces with refreshing palatable aromas of mango, peach, pineapple and lime with a mineral note of quartzite. A full Rheingau cabinet, sumptuous but with a pleasant flow on the palate…. This is a great example of what Kabinett wines can offer; great with food, fun when young but with the ability for many years of maturation.
