Our traditional Schloss Johannisberg winery was awarded \u2b50\u2b50\u2b50\u2b50\u2b50 by the Vinum Weinguide this year. After four and a half stars and a place in the top 100 last year, our winery is now one of the top 20 best wineries in Germany in 2024 thanks to its fifth star. The editors describe the collection as follows: “Great Pr\u00e4dikats from the 2022 vintage, mineral-deep 2020s and finely matured Auslese wines bring the fifth star to Schloss Johannisberg”<\/p>\n

The fifth star is the highest distinction that can be awarded by the Vinum Weinguide. “This award is not a flash in the pan – it stands for continuity in the quality of all our wines,” says winery manager Stefan Doktor, expressing his pride and adding that the fifth star is an “accolade” that joins the ranking in the top 10 of the “World’s Best Vineyards 2023” and elevates the winery to the international wine elite.<\/p>\n
